The Air Show
This year's airshow at Andrews air force base (AFB) will be held on May 16, 17 and 18. Friday, May 16 is open to Department of Defense personnel and school-sponsored children only. Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th, are open to general public. Admission is free.
As air shows in previous years, this year's show features US Navy Blue Angels and US Army's Golden Knights. In addition, F-22 Raptor will be demonstrated on all three days.

Transportation and Parking
Personal vehicles are not allowed in Andrews AFB. Parking is provided at FedEx Field (1600 Fedex Way, Landover, MD, click here[1] for a google map). If travel by Metro, take GREEN line and get off at the Branch Ave Station (click here for Metro map [2]). Shuttle buses will be provided to transport from FedEx Field / Branch Ave station to Andrews AFB. The first bus will leave for Andrews AFB at 7:30am (at either location) and the last bus will leave at 2:00pm. Returning bus from Andrews AFB to FedEx Field / Branch Ave station will begin at 9:00am. The pick-up area is located at the north end of the airfield.
Pedestrian traffic will not be allowed to enter or exit Andrews AFB.
It has been confirmed by Reardon, Catherine Lt Col that it is FREE to park at FedEx Field, and for shuttle buses to/from Andrews AFB.
